• Join the Legal Licensing and Business Development team supporting partnerships that bring Spotify to listeners around the world. • Work at the intersection of technology, media, and business helping shape how Spotify is distributed across platforms, devices, and experiences. • Collaborate closely with business development, finance, and licensing teams to support innovative deals that expand global reach.

📋 Job Requirements

• Have a law degree from an accredited university and be qualified to practise law in the UK or Sweden. • Have 3 or more years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal team. • Be experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements particularly in technology, media, AI, or IP-focused environments. • Be comfortable working across global teams and time zones managing multiple stakeholders and priorities. • Communicate complex legal concepts in a clear accessible way for non-legal partners. • Bring a practical solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making. • Have experience supporting business development or partnership-driven organisations. • Be curious about emerging technologies and understand the legal considerations around AI and digital distribution. • Collaborate effectively and take ownership of your work while contributing to a supportive team environment.

• Have in-house experience at a technology or media company. • Have experience with AI-related commercial agreements. • Have experience with music licensing or content distribution deals. • Have experience scaling contract templates and legal processes for global growth.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development teams to support partnerships that enable Spotify distribution across platforms, devices, and services. • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including technology, AI, hardware, and distribution partnerships. • Provide clear practical legal guidance on complex deal structures, risks, and regulatory considerations. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across finance, accounting, and licensing to support agreement execution and implementation. • Translate legal concepts into clear guidance that informs business strategy and decision-making. • Help improve and scale contract templates, processes, and ways of working to support global growth. • Support teams in navigating internal policies, approval processes, and evolving legal frameworks.
