Security Architect

• Act as a technical leader and accelerator, translating strategic objectives into robust security architecture. • Protect customers while enabling the safe, rapid adoption of new services. • Partner with product and engineering teams to move away from tick-box compliance toward a culture of security by design.

• Have deep experience in design, implementation, or consulting within a security context. • Be a practitioner in at least one of Cloud Security, AppSec, Data Security, IAM, or Network Security. • Understand how to secure microservices and cloud-native environments. • Have a systematic and disciplined approach to problem-solving with high attention to detail. • Be able to navigate technology governance processes constructively and inspire others to deliver excellent technical outcomes. • Have familiarity with Lean/Agile methodologies and Value Stream ways of working.

• Hold a CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification. • Have experience with frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001. • Have experience with GCP, Vertex AI, or Thought Machine. • Be a practitioner in multiple security areas including Cloud Security, AppSec, Data Security, IAM, and Network Security.

• Lead design by architecting scalable, resilient, and secure solutions for new products and features. • Develop aspirational future state architectures that bridge the gap between product ambition and technical reality. • Engage in conversational governance through ongoing coaching, communicating standards, and capturing architectural decisions in real-time. • Build strong ties with Value Stream leads to ensure security initiatives are prioritised and understood at the leadership level. • Apply principles like Zero Trust and Defence-in-Depth to modern patterns like microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing. • Partner with DevOps to bake security directly into CI/CD pipelines. • Proactively identify architectural risks to improve system health and eliminate technical debt.
