Technology Operations Analyst

• Be the face of technology support for all staff at Starling, providing first-line support for colleagues and external partners across a primarily Apple Mac estate. • Support the critical infrastructure of the bank alongside the day-to-day technology needs of thousands of employees across London, Southampton, Cardiff, and Manchester. • Work closely with internal teams and key suppliers — including payment schemes and banking partners — triaging and escalating as needed. • Facilitate onboarding training for new employees and help manage asset inventory, procurement, repairs, and licensing. • Hybrid role based in London; shifts cover 7am–10pm Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.

• Knowledge and experience supporting either macOS or Windows. • Adept at coping in a technically complex and fast-changing environment. • An interest in and suitable understanding of Starling's technology. • Ability to commit to 37.5 hours per week between 7am–10pm Monday to Sunday.

• Exposure to incident management processes. • Experience in operational support of suppliers or outsourced vendors. • Familiarity with device management tools such as Jamf, Intune, or Meraki networking.

• Provide first-line technology and security support raised via Slack, email, and face-to-face office interactions. • Facilitate onboarding training for new employees, ensuring they have access to the equipment, software, and services they need. • Help manage asset inventory, procurement, repairs, auditing, and licensing. • Provision computer hardware from returned stock. • Arrange collection of hardware from leavers. • Perform daily office equipment checks, ensuring all conference rooms are fully functional and display TVs are working at the start of each day.
