LinkedIn Text Formatter

Format Your LinkedIn Post

LinkedIn does not support bold, italic or any special formatting natively. This is the reason why we created this formatter. Our free tool converts your text into Unicode characters so your posts can stand out in the feed.

Is this tool free to use?
Yes, completely free and no sign-up needed. Format your LinkedIn text and copy it straight away.
How does the text formatting actually work?
LinkedIn does not support rich text formatting natively. This tool converts your text into Unicode characters that look bold, italic, or styled, and LinkedIn displays them as normal text.
What is Unicode?
Unicode is a global standard; every character, in every language, has its own code. Some of those codes happen to look like bold or italic letters. This tool replaces your text with those characters, and since LinkedIn treats them as regular text, they display just fine in posts and profiles.
Is there anything I should be aware of when using formatted text on LinkedIn?
Unicode styling looks great but has some trade-offs. Formatted text is not indexed by LinkedIn search, so do not style keywords you want to rank for. It will not display correctly on some older devices, and screen readers can not interpret it properly, which makes it inaccessible to visually impaired readers. In our opinion, use it sparingly and only where it genuinely adds value.
