💼 What you will do

• Build and ship high-quality product features using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Tailwind within Abound's mortgage engineering team. • Lead frontend projects from concept through delivery including technical design, implementation, testing, and iteration. • Work closely with product, backend engineering, and business stakeholders to build experiences that simplify complex mortgage journeys and feel fast, intuitive, and trustworthy. • Champion frontend architecture, component systems, performance, accessibility, and developer experience. • Raise the standard of frontend engineering across the team and help others grow through thoughtful reviews and mentorship.

📋 Job Requirements

• Have strong professional experience building production web applications with React. • Have advanced hands-on experience coding with TypeScript. • Have experience working with GraphQL APIs. • Have a strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimisation. • Have experience with modern testing frameworks including integration and end-to-end testing. • Have a good eye for design, interaction details, responsiveness, accessibility, and overall product polish. • Have a product-minded approach — you care about customer outcomes and the "why" behind what you're building. • Have a strong sense of ownership and the ability to turn complex problems into clear, shippable solutions.
