About the role

💼 What you will do

• Support core retail accounting activities across Tapestry Europe spanning 11 countries. • Build strong cross‑functional partnerships with key stakeholders across Coach and Kate Spade brands. • Play an active part in accounting initiatives and specialized finance projects. • Ensure the voice and ambitions of the individual are supported within a global house of brands.

📋 Job Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. • Be a newly qualified ACA/ACCA professional. • Possess strong technical accounting knowledge with a preference for retail experience. • Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis. • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Act as a proactive self‑starter with high motivation and initiative. • Manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a changing environment. • Apply strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities to complex data. • Communicate effectively through both written and verbal channels. • Possess the permanent right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Have previous experience working with SAP software. • Demonstrate knowledge of ReconNet and BlackLine systems. • Possess additional European language skills. • Have prior experience specifically within a multi-channel retail accounting environment.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process by posting journal entries and performing reconciliations. • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting across all retail channels. • Resolve discrepancies in cash sales and accounts receivable in a timely manner. • Assist with Marketplace accounting including accrual calculations and settlement reconciliations. • Maintain high data integrity across all financial and reporting systems. • Provide financial support to stores regarding reporting and new store openings. • Contribute to Finance Control initiatives and AOP‑approved projects. • Liaise with Concession stores and Marketplace partners for efficient financial processes. • Build relationships with Treasury, IT, Tax, Customer Service, and Store Operations.
