Senior Front End Engineer

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product at Cytora. • Work closely with UX designers, frontend and backend engineers, and product managers to build the main product offering in Insurtech. • Manage stakeholders, take initiative, influence product roadmaps and direction, and collaborate with UX to establish best practices.

• Have significant experience building and maintaining full-stack JavaScript production-grade web applications. • Have hands-on commercial experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React and Redux. • Have understanding of the functional programming paradigm and its real-world usage, as well as other patterns such as the singleton pattern. • Be a team player who can work with various people across the business while being comfortable with autonomy. • Understand that success is a team activity and be responsible for team cohesion and maintaining good culture. • Have experience working with APIs, services, and 3rd party providers and SDKs. • Be able to operate with limited information, identify gaps, and close them with a focus on delivery. • Ensure any risks are properly communicated. • Have fluent spoken and written English. • Have the permanent right to work in the UK or Ireland without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Have experience in UX/UI design to enhance user interactions and experiences. • Have start-up experience with proven ability to rapidly build and deliver working products.

• Collaborate within a growing team to develop and maintain full-stack TypeScript production-grade web applications. • Utilize expertise in JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React and Redux to deliver features on time and of high quality. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of agile fundamentals, contributing to an efficient and collaborative development process. • Work with backend engineers, consulting on contract design amongst other things, to ensure APIs are fit for purpose. • Have an eye for detail and empathy for the end-user, putting yourself in their shoes. • Work with UX to deliver impactful user experiences.
