Senior Front End Engineer

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product by working closely with UX designers, frontend and backend engineers, and product managers. • Build the main product offering in Insurtech, managing stakeholders, influencing product roadmaps, and establishing best practices. • Collaborate within a growing team to develop and maintain full-stack TypeScript production-grade web applications.

• Have significant experience building and maintaining full-stack JavaScript production-grade web applications. • Have hands-on commercial experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React and Redux. • Understand the functional programming paradigm and its real-world usage as well as other patterns such as the singleton pattern. • Be a team player who can work with various people across the business while being comfortable with autonomy. • Have experience working with APIs and services and third-party providers and SDKs. • Be able to operate with limited information, identify gaps and close them, with a focus on delivery and proper communication of risks. • Have an understanding of agile fundamentals contributing to an efficient and collaborative development process. • Have an eye for detail and empathy for the end user, working with UX to deliver impactful user experiences.

• Have experience in UX/UI design to enhance user interactions and experiences. • Have start-up experience with a proven ability to rapidly build and deliver working products.

• Collaborate within a growing team to develop and maintain full-stack TypeScript production-grade web applications. • Utilise expertise in JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React and Redux to deliver features on time and of high quality. • Work with backend engineers, consulting on contract design to ensure APIs are fit for purpose. • Manage stakeholders such as CX and BA, taking initiative where necessary. • Influence product roadmaps and direction. • Collaborate with the UX designer function to establish best practices. • Maintain team cohesion and a good culture alongside technical delivery.
