Product Engineer

• Own products and features from beginning to end, from originating ideas to testing MVPs in production with real users. • Ship every product that companies need to run their business, from their first day to IPO and beyond. • Work in small, autonomous, highly efficient teams that outship much larger companies by owning products end to end.

• Have full-stack experience with relevant technologies such as Python or similar, React or similar, and ideally something to do with big data. • Have experience taking a project from 0 to 1, whether leading a project, being a founder, or building an impressive side project. • Have strong writing skills and the ability to communicate ideas and make persuasive arguments. • Have worked at a high-growth SaaS company before. • Have extensive knowledge of Django and/or TypeScript-based React. • Be an enthusiastic driver who can fully own projects and get them done. • Be an optimistic problem solver who collaborates, iterates, and ships through challenges. • Be a genuine builder who loves building software.

• Have experience building AI-native products or integrating AI into existing software. • Have experience with big data technologies. • Have founder or entrepreneurial experience. • Have experience with product analytics or customer data platforms.

• Own products and features from beginning to end including originating ideas, talking to users, understanding strategy, testing MVPs, iterating on feedback, owning pricing, and ensuring ongoing success. • Collaborate with design using the design system and decide when to work with the design team to iterate and polish experiences. • Talk to users frequently, bounce ideas off them, and iterate with them when shipping new things. • Do weekly support hero rotations investigating and resolving customer-reported issues in real time. • Write documentation for new features and collaborate with the content team on reviewing and improving it. • Participate in on-call rotations.
