Software Engineer - Relocate to the UK

Posted on 2 Jun 2026

About the role

💼 What you will do

• Relocate to London and join Omnea's engineering team as a Senior (L3) or Staff (L4) full-stack engineer, with visa sponsorship and £8,000 tax-free relocation reimbursement provided. • Build and ship production features end to end in TypeScript with React, Postgres, Hasura, and AWS serverless technologies including Lambda, DynamoDB, and EventBridge. • Own your projects from product, design, and architecture through to deployment, monitoring, and measuring user impact. • Deploy small, incremental changes to production multiple times per day in a continuous delivery culture. • Contribute to key product decisions including roadmap prioritisation, project scoping, and technical direction.

📋 Job Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience building web apps with features designed and implemented full-stack using TypeScript and ideally AWS. • Be prepared to undertake the pair-programming interview stage in JavaScript or TypeScript. • Be a full-stack engineer — this role is not a fit for engineers who are only frontend, only backend, or primarily DevOps/platform focused. • Be willing and able to relocate to London to work in a hybrid pattern (3 days on-site, Tuesday to Thursday). • Understand what it takes to build highly reliable, well-architected products with quality, observability, and redundancy at the forefront.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Have contributed to open-source projects or worked on side projects outside of work. • Have a track record of exceptional performance in academics, sport, or other areas. • Have experience with AWS CDK, SST, Hasura, or similar modern serverless tooling.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Ship production-grade features end to end across the full stack. • Deploy incremental changes to production multiple times daily. • Take initiative, proactively solve problems, and continuously seek improvements. • Engage with customers and iterate based on their feedback. • Collaborate with and level up teammates through feedback and knowledge sharing.

About Omnea

📊 Omnea at a glance

🚀 Why Join - Our Take

Omnea is one of the most exciting B2B SaaS companies in Europe right now. In just three years since its founding, it has raised over $75 million from world-class investors, grown revenue 5x in the past year alone, and more than tripled its headcount to 160+ people across London and New York. The company is now the 4th fastest-growing startup in Europe and has 10x'd ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months. What stands out on Glassdoor (4.8/5 from 17 reviews, 100% recommend) is how consistently employees praise the talent density, the pace of learning, and the calibre of colleagues. People describe working alongside ex-founders, former operators from Google, Meta, TikTok, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley, and top startups like Tessian, Pigment, and Pleo. Omnea's careers page states they interviewed more than 10,000 people for their first 50 hires, and the hiring bar remains exceptionally high. The company works in person three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) in London and New York, which is not for everyone, but reflects their belief that early-stage collaboration benefits from face-to-face time. Equity is structured so every employee has a meaningful stake, and the Senior Software Engineer listing shows salary ranges of £80K–£120K with £25K–£50K in equity. The main thing to be aware of is that this is a genuinely fast-paced environment: multiple Glassdoor reviews note that this is not a 9-to-5, though they add that working alongside exceptional people on a mission that matters makes it worth it. If you want to be part of a category-defining company at one of the most exciting stages of its growth, surrounded by some of the strongest talent in European tech, Omnea is hard to beat.
