Senior Software Engineer II (Train Team)

• Join the Train Team, working closely with modelling engineers to integrate features core to Runna's training mission — think holiday plan adaptations, B-race support, and in-app AI/ML experiences. • Architect, build, test, and deliver new features across the full stack, working closely with the CTO and engineering leadership to shape Runna's technical direction. • Coach and mentor engineers in your team, providing guidance and code reviews without creating bottlenecks. • Champion new technologies and set engineering quality standards that elevate the wider engineering org. • Work hybrid from the Vauxhall office three days per week.

• Bring strong TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency and experience with React Native on large-scale applications. • Bring 4+ years of experience in your main area of expertise — frontend, backend, or full-stack. • Bring experience with AWS and delivering features end-to-end across the full stack. • Show skill at delivering features from architecture design through to releasing, testing, and ongoing support. • Bring enthusiasm for iterative development, continuous deployment, test automation, and collaborative cross-functional ways of working.
