iOS Engineer

• Build new iOS features and products for the Engine platform — making Starling's banking technology work for banks around the world and building features that haven't yet launched in the UK market. • Work in a highly modular Swift codebase using MVVM-C architecture, with a strong focus on simplicity, testability, and clean code. • Own your projects in small, empowered cross-functional teams within a flat structure. • Join a scaling SaaS business at the cutting edge of global fintech infrastructure. • Hybrid role based in London.

• Strong iOS development experience in Swift. • Solid knowledge of UIKit concepts and components — this is a must. • Able to produce robust, well-tested code that gives customers the reliability they need. • Cares about the product, user experience, and design. • Self-driven with the ability to take full ownership of projects from building through to shipping and maintenance.

• Experience with reactive programming, particularly RxSwift. • Familiarity with MVVM-C architecture or similar highly modular iOS patterns. • Experience with developer productivity tooling or automation within an iOS codebase.

• Contribute to Engine's award-winning banking platform and internal tooling. • Build new features and products from scratch in a configurable way for banks worldwide. • Write robust, well-tested Swift code in a modular UIKit-based codebase using MVVM-C architecture. • Share knowledge with teammates and contribute to a strong learning culture. • Own projects end to end, working collaboratively in small cross-functional teams.
