Python Engineer

• Build and maintain the core backend services that power Hurree's platform, including API integrations, data pipelines, and internal tooling. • Work within the development team to implement scalable, high-performance solutions that ensure reliable data processing and delivery. • Design, implement, and maintain Python-based services for data aggregation, processing, and analytics. • Contribute to architectural discussions and recommend improvements to code and system design.

• Bring strong experience in Python development, including libraries such as pandas, requests, SQLAlchemy, or similar. • Have experience building backend services and APIs (RESTful or GraphQL). • Bring familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB. • Have experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. • Bring an understanding of data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design. • Bring strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Have experience with SaaS platforms or data-focused applications. • Bring knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). • Bring familiarity with message queues, event-driven systems, or distributed data processing. • Have experience with monitoring, logging, and debugging production systems.

• Design, implement, and maintain Python-based services for data aggregation, processing, and analytics. • Develop RESTful APIs and backend features that support the platform and its integrations. • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in line with best practices. • Build robust ETL pipelines for importing, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources. • Support connector development and ensure reliable data flows for various external platforms, handling large datasets efficiently while maintaining performance and scalability. • Collaborate with teams to define technical requirements and support debugging of production issues to improve system reliability. • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality releases. • Maintain clear documentation for APIs, data models, and internal processes, continuously improving code quality and system performance.
