About the role

💼 What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution of Greyparrot's dual-pronged product ecosystem, bridging sophisticated hardware deployment and deep, data-driven AI software platforms. • Take on a pivotal executive role for a platform thinker, serving two distinct buyer markets — recycling facility operators and the brands and regulators who depend on packaging performance data — through a single underlying AI intelligence platform. • Own the roadmap and architecture logic connecting those two surfaces, sequencing investment so growth in one directly compounds the value delivered by the other. • Report directly to the Cofounder & CPO, based in the London office at least one day a week.

📋 Job Requirements

• Bring 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role (VP, Head of Product, or Director) within a fast-growing B2B tech scale-up. • Bring proven experience scaling a data platform product where one product's output feeds another's value proposition, sequencing roadmaps across upstream and downstream dependencies while keeping a coherent platform architecture. • Bring deep technical fluency in machine learning lifecycles, computer vision, data labelling pipelines, and edge-AI computing, grounding product decisions in what's buildable and challenging AI researchers on accuracy, model drift, and data ingestion metrics. • Understand the friction of physical supply chains, hardware retrofitting, and firmware updates, and how they interact with cloud-based software layers. • Bring a strong background owning B2B data products that serve multiple distinct buyer types, translating the same underlying dataset into different value propositions without fragmenting the platform. • Have experience defining monetisation strategies for hybrid models, such as upfront hardware costs paired with recurring SaaS data subscriptions.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Have worked in the waste, recycling, or wider sustainability sector. • Bring experience with hardware-enabled SaaS or IoT product models. • Have led product-led growth (PLG) motions in a B2B data business. • Have partnered directly with AI research and engineering teams on computer vision products.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Shape and execute a unified product roadmap spanning the Analyzer hardware units, AI/computer vision data extraction, the Analyzer operator portal, and the Deepnest packaging intelligence platform. • Own the data platform architecture and roadmap connecting Analyzer output to Deepnest intelligence, partnering with the Deepnest PM on that product's surface-level execution while retaining strategic ownership of the platform layer beneath it. • Ensure all product design and UX decisions are grounded in available data models and technical reality before reaching engineering, staying accountable for the quality and implementability of product specifications. • Act as a peer to Engineering and AI Research, translating commercial requirements into technically grounded product decisions so the product team never creates work engineering cannot build. • Lead and develop a lean, high-impact product management and design team, fostering high accountability, rapid experimentation, and structured delivery. • Define, track, and optimise core product KPIs, driving product-led growth indicators, client retention, and data-accuracy features. • Act as the voice of the customer, spending time on-site at recycling facilities and in the boardrooms of enterprise sustainability and operations executives to anticipate market needs.

💖 What makes Greyparrot unique

Greyparrot is a London-based leader in AI-powered waste intelligence, on a mission to solve the global waste crisis by bringing transparency and automation to a traditionally opaque sector. Through a hardware-enabled SaaS model — the Greyparrot Analyzer (IoT computer vision units deployed over recycling conveyor belts) and Deepnest (its packaging intelligence platform) — it empowers recycling facilities, FMCG giants such as Kenvue, Unilever, and L'Oréal, and global regulators to track packaging performance, maximise recovery, and turn circular economy aspirations into financial and operational reality. Its technology processes billions of waste objects, turning trash into actionable data.
