Senior Full-Stack Developer, Kagi Labs

• Join Kagi Labs, the fast-moving R&D team that prototypes, validates, and ships new products at high velocity using LLMs as force multipliers. • Ship whole products end to end from architecture and database design through frontend polish, deployment, and ongoing iteration. • Work across a wide range of projects from new consumer-facing web products to supporting hardware prototypes and internal tooling.

• Have demonstrated experience building and shipping complete products with small side projects and indie apps highly valued. • Have strong full-stack skills with comfort across backend systems and frontend development. • Have practical productive experience with LLM-assisted development not just prompting but productively integrating AI into how you build. • Have a multifaceted skillset spanning product direction, design, UX, and infrastructure and enjoy wearing many hats. • Be comfortable with ambiguity and autonomy and be able to take a rough idea and turn it into a usable product. • Be comfortable working with SvelteKit, TailwindCSS, and Python or be able to get up to speed quickly.

• Have experience operating as a one-person engineering team. • Have experience with hardware prototypes or IoT projects. • Have experience building publishing or blogging platforms. • Have experience with the Small Web or indie web movement.

• Build and ship new products within the Kagi ecosystem including web applications, platform features, and developer-facing tools. • Own projects end to end from architecture and database design through frontend polish, deployment, and ongoing iteration. • Collaborate across multiple teams on a diverse set of initiatives from building a publishing platform one week to supporting a hardware project the next. • Leverage LLM-assisted development to move fast, prototype rapidly, and punch above your weight as an individual contributor. • Engage with real users, listen to feedback, and iterate with care.
