• Be the first commercial person on Eliza, Lottie's AI voice agent for social care that answers phones for care homes, captures enquiries, and books viewings.
• Work directly with the GM and CEO to build the go-to-market engine from scratch, from first outbound message to closed deal.
• Shape the GTM playbook that will scale across the portfolio of AI agent products.
📋 Job Requirements
• Be entrepreneurial and commercially driven, wanting to build something rather than just execute a playbook.
• Have a strong track record in a high-activity sales environment whether that's SDR/BDR, Commercial Associate, or another commission-based role.
• Be genuinely excited about AI and able to articulate what an agent means for care operators in plain, compelling language.
• Be a natural relationship-builder who people warm to, as care is a people business and trust matters.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity as the playbook doesn't exist yet.
• Be autonomous and resourceful, figuring things out, testing ideas, and not waiting for permission.
• Be passionate about elevating later life for everybody.
• Be comfortable with high-volume outbound activity and the rejection that comes with it.
🌟 Nice-to-have
• Have experience selling SaaS into SMBs.
• Have experience in the care or healthcare sector.
• Have been a top-performing SDR or Commercial Associate looking to own a product's entire GTM motion.
🎯 Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle for Eliza, from prospecting through demo to close, selling AI agents to care home operators and home care providers.
• Build your outbound engine from scratch by testing messaging, channels, and approaches while leveraging Lottie's existing network of 6,000+ care services for warm introductions.
• Run product demos and lead Eliza's presence at industry events to generate pipeline.
• Work closely with the Eliza product and engineering team to feed back what operators need and shape the roadmap.
• Work with the GM to build the processes and reporting that will scale as the team grows.
• Help define pricing, packaging, and positioning as Eliza moves from pilot to full commercial launch.
• Translate early pilot results into a scalable, repeatable sales process.
Lottie is solving one of the UK's most pressing social challenges: helping families navigate the stressful, confusing process of finding later life care. Founded by two brothers out of their own frustrating experience, Lottie has grown from a half-broken website launched to meet an investor deadline into the UK's highest-rated care-finding service, backed by Accel and General Catalyst, early backers of companies like Airbnb, Meta, and Spotify. The company has raised more than £25 million, reached 10 million users, and now has a team of 70+ people. Glassdoor tells a remarkable story: 4.9/5 from 27 reviews, with 100% of employees recommending it to a friend. Reviewers consistently highlight the team's kindness, mission-driven culture, and clear career progression. Lottie also offers genuinely good benefits for a startup: private healthcare via Bupa, EMI share options, a 3-night digital detox through Unplugged, 26 days holiday (increasing with tenure), and work-from-anywhere for up to 3 weeks per year. The main thing to be aware of is that this is a fast-paced startup environment with ambitious targets, which some reviewers note is not for everyone. But if you want to do meaningful work that directly helps families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, while working alongside genuinely kind and talented people, Lottie is a brilliant place to do that.
