- What skills are needed for remote sales positions?
- Being able to listen well matters most. You need to truly understand your prospect's pain points holistically so they feel understood and confident that you can solve their issues. Therefore, effective communication, negotiation and getting potential customers excited should go hand in hand. Also, you should be at ease with different CRMs and, maybe, Marketing tools like Salesforce or HubSpot. Building connections online is important, too. If you know sales approaches like MEDDIC or Challenger, that will be a definite bonus.

- Yes, most remote sales openings come with competitive base salaries, commission structures, and performance bonuses. On-target earnings (OTE) can exceed base salary by a significant amount for high performers.
