Commercial Business Development Manager

• Be the face of Atom in the field across London and South East, managing a high-concentration region with a waiting list of brokers ready to be engaged. • Free up capacity, onboard new partners, and train them on Atom systems, products, and lending criteria. • Be part of an energetic team that has grown from £300m to £1.6bn in lending with ambitious plans for continued growth.

• Have proven experience in a commercial lending role such as BDM, Account Manager, or Broker with a solid grasp of the SME lending landscape. • Have a high degree of accountability and self-management. • Be able to deliver compelling presentations and build relationships across diverse communities. • Have great interpersonal skills. • Have proven experience of delivering against commercial targets. • Hold a full clean driving licence and have your own vehicle.

• Have experience working with commercial finance brokers and SME intermediaries. • Have experience attending industry events such as NACFB. • Have experience with app-based or digital banking products. • Have familiarity with FCA and PRA regulatory frameworks.

• Identify, build, and maintain expert-level relationships with commercial finance brokers and SME intermediaries. • Act as the primary technical leader in the field training brokers on Atom systems, products, and lending criteria. • Manage the front-line quality of applications ensuring they meet regulatory standards and deliver the right outcomes for customers. • Represent Atom at industry events and act as a conduit for market intelligence back to senior leadership. • Deliver against metrics for broker interactions, lending volumes, and engagement levels. • Spend 3 of 4 working days on the road delivering presentations and onboarding brokers.
