SMB Account Executive (DACH) — German Speaking

• Own a targeted book of SMB prospects across the DACH region and run an end-to-end sales cycle from outreach to close. • Help customers create eye-catching pitch decks, design marketing materials at scale, and stay on-brand across every department. • Use the SPICED methodology to qualify opportunities, uncover customer value, and drive scalable, repeatable sales motions. • High-impact, autonomous role ideal for someone energised by building pipeline and shaping Canva's presence in Europe. • Based at Canva's London campus in Hoxton Square, Shoreditch, with flexibility in how and where you work.

• Proven track record of success in outbound sales or account management, preferably in a B2B or SMB-focused environment. • Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. • Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. • Familiarity with CRM and outreach software such as Salesforce, Outreach.io, Sales Navigator, and Gong. • Fluent in German.

• Prior experience in the tech industry, SaaS sales, or working specifically with SMB clients.

• Conduct outbound sales activities to identify, prospect, and engage with SMB clients across the DACH region. • Develop a deep understanding of SMB customers' needs, pain points, and objectives to tailor Canva's solutions effectively. • Proactively reach out to potential SMB clients via phone, email, and other channels to present Canva's value proposition. • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with SMB clients through regular communication and exceptional customer service. • Collaborate closely with Sales & Success, Marketing, and Product to optimise the sales process and customer experience. • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, including monthly quotas and conversion rates. • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline management using the CRM system. • Stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to effectively position Canva in the SMB market.
