Account Executive, Startups — Greenfield (EMEA)

• Help startups across EMEA unlock Vercel's full value from early adoption through to scale. • Build trusted relationships with founders, developers, and technical leaders making critical architectural decisions. • Focus on pipeline generation, outbound prospecting, and landing new logos before competitors do. • Guide startup teams as they adopt AI-native architectures and modern web infrastructure. • Leverage automation, agents, and self-built workflows to operate at high leverage and maximise impact. • Help shape early sales motions into repeatable playbooks across a growing startup portfolio.

• Learns complex technical products quickly and can reason confidently about modern web and AI-native applications. • Speaks comfortably with founders and developers, earning credibility through insight rather than seniority. • Proven sales acumen with experience owning revenue outcomes across a range of deal sizes and complexities. • Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and enjoys shaping how a team evolves from early-stage to structured. • Energised by ownership, accountability, and helping customers make smart technical decisions. • Brings a clear point of view on modern web infrastructure, frontend performance, and scaling tradeoffs.

• Background as a builder, founder, or engineer — firsthand experience with architectural decisions and scaling constraints is a strong signal. • Familiarity with Vercel's ecosystem, including Next.js, AI SDK, or v0. • Experience working with or selling to pre-seed through Series D companies. • Comfort with AI tools, automation, and building your own workflows to increase leverage.

• Land new startup logos across EMEA through outbound prospecting and early-stage identification of high-potential companies. • Drive first activation and position Vercel as the default infrastructure choice before competitors establish a foothold. • Analyse usage patterns to identify expansion opportunities and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive outcomes. • Partner with founders and developers to help them understand how Vercel's Frontend Cloud fits their evolving architecture and AI-native workloads. • Refine early sales plays and contribute to building scalable, repeatable playbooks for the startup segment.
