Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Workflow and CI

• Improve Firefox development workflows to reduce time spent testing and debugging test failures, and increase automation and integration across the development lifecycle. • Build and maintain applications that Firefox developers and managers use every day to develop, build, test, and deliver Mozilla's core products. • Look at data, build dashboards, and identify trends in Firefox development workflow to act as a force-multiplier for the wider engineering organisation. • Collaborate with other teams by providing code review and technical direction. • Mentor other team members and be mentored by more senior engineers in a geographically distributed, open-source team.

• Have proven Python skills including building services. • Have front-end development experience including JavaScript proficiency. • Have experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, cloud services such as GCP or AWS, and REST. • Have a solid understanding of databases and SQL. • Have experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI, and test harnesses. • Be comfortable working cross-platform across at least 2 of: Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android. • Have a passion for enhancing developer productivity.

• Have a deep understanding of version control systems. • Have experience with containerisation and continuous delivery, particularly with Docker. • Have experience with CI of large-scale projects. • Be comfortable with data analysis.

• Improve Firefox development workflows and reduce friction in testing and debugging. • Build and maintain developer-facing applications and tooling used across Mozilla's engineering organisation. • Automate and integrate development workflows to increase engineering velocity. • Provide code review and technical direction to other teams. • Build dashboards and analyse data to identify trends in Firefox development workflows. • Mentor teammates and contribute to a collaborative, distributed engineering culture.
