Staff Product Manager, Content Agent

• Drive the product vision for Content Agent — Sanity's AI operations layer that gives content teams the ability to operate at scale through conversation, automation, and agent-driven workflows. • This is not a role where AI is a feature you manage — it is the product, and you need to understand how it thinks. • Design cognitive architectures, write agent instructions, and shape how AI systems reason about structured content. • Own the full arc of Content Agent: vision, roadmap, trust model, extensibility strategy, and quality metrics. • Based in London, UK with hybrid working.

• Proven track record as a Product Manager with experience in platforms, data-oriented products, or developer frameworks. • Real hands-on experience with AI agents and LLM-based systems — cognitive architecture, prompt engineering, agent instruction design, and reliability patterns. • Has shipped AI products where the quality of reasoning, not just the output, was the key challenge. • Comfortable with JSON, API design, and technical product development. • Understanding of structured content — schemas, references, validation rules, and how they shape what an agent can do (or able to learn it quickly). • Strong customer empathy, particularly for the needs of content teams and large enterprises. • Clear communicator who can lead cross-functional teams and bring simplicity to complex AI systems.

• Familiarity with Sanity's product ecosystem — Content Agent, Content Lake, Studio, or GROQ. • Experience defining agent extensibility patterns — tools, skills, and integrations that allow customers and partners to extend AI capabilities. • Background in headless CMS, content operations, or enterprise content platforms.

• Craft the vision and roadmap for Content Agent — Sanity's AI operations layer for content at scale. • Design agent behaviours and define how agents decompose complex content operations, handle ambiguity, and earn user trust. • Define and evolve the trust and quality model — staged changes, review flows, error rates, and cost efficiency. • Drive the extensibility strategy, enabling customers and partners to extend the agent through tools, skills, and integrations. • Write and refine agent instructions, system prompts, and behavioural specifications as core product work. • Measure and monitor agent effectiveness, building feedback loops and metrics to improve quality systematically. • Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and align Content Agent with the broader Sanity platform. • Collaborate with engineering, design, and solution engineering leaders to shape product solutions.
