• Join the Social Experience team as a frontend-focused engineer, building and refining the client-side features that enhance how VRChat users connect, interact, and discover content and communities together.
• Work within Unity and C# to build high-quality, performant, and engaging user interfaces and systems for social features including groups, events, and other interaction surfaces.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers across the stack to translate product and design vision into functional code through informed trade-offs.
• Contribute to all stages of the feature lifecycle — from initial concept and prototyping through to deployment, post-launch iteration, and maintenance.
• Work fully remotely from anywhere in the world with flexible hours and core collaboration hours.
📋 Job Requirements
• Bring a track record of shipping consumer-facing client features end-to-end, preferably in social gaming, platforms, or client-side application development.
• Bring proficiency in C# and strong working knowledge of Unity and uGUI.
• Bring experience with client-side development for social features, user interfaces, or similar consumer-facing applications.
• Bring experience optimising Unity projects for performance across various hardware including standalone VR devices.
• Bring experience with CI/CD systems, A/B testing, AI tooling, and automated testing, plus a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.

• Bring comfort working full stack across the client and backend, particularly with Node.js.
