Global Logistics Manager

• Define, execute, and optimise global logistics, customs, transportation, and warehousing operations across the UK, US, Asia Pacific, and EU. • Own end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics, customs compliance, tariffs and duties, transportation strategy, and logistics partner management. • Help set up the logistics roadmap as Wayve continues to scale up internationally.

• Prefer to have managerial experience. • Have experience setting up company logistics strategy and team from scratch. • Have a strong understanding of carrier and forwarder shipping rate and cost breakdown. • Have deep knowledge of international customs, duty, and tariff regulation and policy.

• Have experience working at both a startup and an established company. • Have an automotive background. • Have 15 or more years of experience.

• Develop and execute a global logistics strategy aligned with company objectives, hardware programmes, and regional growth plans. • Own relationships with global and regional freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers and lead rate negotiations, contract renewals, and capacity planning across regions. • Own and ensure full compliance with domestic and international trade regulations, customs rules, tariff and duty, and safety standards. • Own and implement logistics-related processes and tools and ensure they are documented, standardised, and scalable. • Ensure seamless integration between logistics systems and purchasing, warehouse, finance, and other stakeholder workflows.
