About the role
💼 What you will do
• Take end-to-end responsibility for specific ADAS functionalities — such as Traffic Flow Logic, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Pre-Safe, and Perception for HMI — ensuring they meet OEM customer requirements and are delivered to spec. • Serve as the central liaison between OEM customers, product teams, and engineering teams, harmonising customer requests to maximise development of reusable assets. • Monitor the feature lifecycle from concept to production, addressing deviations promptly and proactively mitigating risks. • Maintain and evolve the strategic feature roadmap as Wayve's technology progresses towards higher autonomy levels. • Hybrid role based at Wayve's London office.
📋 Job Requirements
• Experience specifying and facilitating ADAS feature delivery from concept to production — features such as TFL, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross & Front Cross Traffic Alert, Pre-Safe, Door Open Warning, or Perception for HMI. • Automotive background with experience in requirements management, V-model, ASPICE, quality, and validation. • Strong ability to understand and represent OEM customer needs, negotiate requirements, and align expectations between customers and internal teams. • Technical understanding of ADAS features, able to engage in trade-off and feasibility discussions and participate actively in testing, evaluation, and validation.
🌟 Nice-to-have
• Demonstrated success delivering complete ADAS features into large-scale production automotive programmes. • Knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards such as ASPICE, SOTIF, FuSa, and the compliance regimes around them (GSR-II, DCAS). • Experience with machine learning, LLMs, or recent generative AI methods and architectures. • Strong ability to bridge technical and business perspectives across teams and stakeholders. • Proactive approach to exploring and developing new ADAS features, keeping pace with industry advancement.
🎯 Responsibilities
• Take full accountability for specific ADAS features, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with agreed specifications. • Monitor the feature lifecycle from concept to production, addressing any deviations promptly. • Collaborate with feature group owners and engineering teams to create feature specifications. • Engage actively throughout feature development — providing early feedback, participating in testing, and supporting validation. • Deeply understand OEM customer needs and represent their interests internally without compromising Wayve's objectives. • Harmonise OEM requests across different customers to maximise development of reusable assets. • Serve as the central liaison between OEMs, product teams, and engineering teams for your features. • Proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
