Staff Data Analyst, Operations

• Act as a pivotal technical leadership position and force multiplier for the Operations Analytics team. • Own complex, ambiguous challenges end to end from identifying critical business opportunities to architecting scalable data solutions. • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, using deep technical expertise and strategic insights to influence decisions. • Mentor a talented team of analysts, setting the standard for technical excellence and fostering continuous growth.

• Have a proven ability to think strategically, connect analytical work to broader company objectives, and drive projects that deliver significant impact across multiple teams. • Have a track record of leading large-scale, complex projects with a high degree of autonomy and creating multi-quarter roadmaps. • Be an expert in SQL, data pipeline tools like dbt, and data analysis with the ability to design and architect scalable, future-proofed data solutions. • Have experience mentoring and developing analysts and be a compelling communicator who can build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders. • Have a deep sense of ownership and proactivity, identifying opportunities and championing new tools and frameworks.

• Have experience working in fintech or payments. • Have experience with operations analytics at scale. • Have experience with Python or other programming languages for data analysis. • Have familiarity with financial services regulations.

• Lead analytical roadmaps and strategic initiatives that align with long-term goals, identifying high-impact opportunities and driving outcomes in leadership forums. • Take ownership of large, complex analytical projects from conception to delivery, defining project structures and aligning senior stakeholders. • Prepare and deliver high-level presentations, tailoring communication to influence diverse audiences and resolving conflicts by leveraging data to build consensus. • Pioneer the development of efficient, high-performing SQL and lead the design of scalable data infrastructure and workflows using tools like dbt. • Establish and enforce best practices in coding, data analysis, and system design across the team. • Mentor other analysts, identify and close gaps in technical and domain knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
