💼 What you will do

• Capture all important user actions on the website and turn raw data into easy-to-understand reports and dashboards. • Ensure web analytics data is accurate by working closely with engineers to set up tracking correctly and fix issues quickly. • Maintain tracking plans and data definitions to keep them tidy and up to date. • Use advanced data skills to understand organic search performance and turn complex information into clear, actionable insights. • Present complicated findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Stay on top of new trends in web analytics to keep the team ahead.

📋 Job Requirements

• Have solid grounding in SQL. • Have proven experience as a Web Analyst. • Have experience with conversion rate optimisation. • Have a solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO elements. • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to dig into data, spot trends including organic search trends, and translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights. • Be commercially minded and able to put numbers into business perspective. • Be a reliable team player.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Have experience with Looker or similar BI tools. • Have experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms. • Have experience working with Python for data analysis. • Have familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Work with data scientists, analysts, analytics engineers, product managers, and engineers to power the website. • Increase volume whilst maintaining quality across web properties. • Turn raw website data into reports and dashboards highlighting key numbers like visits, sales, engagement, and conversion paths. • Protect data quality by ensuring web analytics data is accurate and tracking is set up correctly. • Maintain tracking plans and data definitions. • Analyse organic search performance and provide insights to improve content, website tech, and link-building efforts. • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to turn their questions into smart data projects.
