Account Executive, Public Sector UKI (Ministry of Defence)

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value named accounts within Central Government Defence sectors across the UK and Ireland. • Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders including CISOs and IT Security and Network leaders. • Help organisations leverage cyber security, cloud connectivity, and network products to improve resilience and application performance.

• Have a deep understanding of the unique challenges, procurement processes, and technological needs of UKI Central Government and Defence organisations. • Have highly experienced and results-driven sales background with named account management. • Be able to serve as a primary point of contact and trusted adviser for C-level and senior-level client stakeholders. • Be able to navigate complex government and public sector procurement frameworks. • Be able to lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and close. • Be able to collaborate with pre-sales engineers, product teams, and professional services to create compelling proposals and demonstrations.

• Have existing relationships within UK Central Government or Ministry of Defence. • Have experience selling cyber security or network infrastructure solutions. • Have experience with public sector procurement frameworks such as G-Cloud or CCS. • Have security clearance or eligibility for UK government security clearance.

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans for named accounts focusing on new logo acquisition and revenue growth. • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted adviser for C-level and senior-level client stakeholders. • Identify and close new business opportunities within existing accounts by understanding pain points and aligning solutions to strategic objectives. • Proactively prospect and identify new opportunities within the Defence sector, navigating complex government procurement frameworks. • Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and close. • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, product teams, and professional services to create compelling proposals and demonstrations. • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of Central Government and Defence landscapes including key initiatives, budgets, and technology trends.
