About the role

💼 What you will do

• Act as the face of Tide, executing targeted sales strategies and prospecting new SME clients across a designated territory — on a 12-month fixed-term contract. • Own the full sales cycle from initial field contact through to closing and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new members. • Sell Tide's core product suite, including business current accounts, commercial insurance, funding options, and card terminal solutions. • Build partnerships with local business hubs, accountants, and SME networks to drive referrals and customer acquisition. • 5-day-per-week commitment split between field and office; regular event and exhibition attendance required.

📋 Job Requirements

• Demonstrable track record in B2B business development and active field sales, ideally within a fast-paced startup or fintech environment. • Direct industry expertise selling business current accounts, commercial insurance, or working in the card terminal and payments sector. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently pitch to business owners, negotiate deals, and present to large groups. • Strong background in identifying, securing, and nurturing B2B partnerships and referral networks. • Highly effective at networking events, with a natural ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly. • Highly organised and capable of managing a full 5-day on-site and field schedule.
